Class 1 Admission notification for the Academic Year 2027-2028

Application forms will open at 8 AM on Wednesday, 2 December 2026 and close at 11.59 PM on Saturday, 5 December 2026.

Register on Edchemy by clicking on the link given above, using a valid email address and mobile number, and create a password.
An OTP to activate the account will be sent to the registered email ID or phone number.
Enter the username and OTP received, then set a password and click "Verify" to activate the account.
Log in to edchemy.kumarans.org with the registered username and password.
Select the application form, fill in all required details, and save it.
Upload all required documents and submit the form online.

Admissions are conducted under a transparent and objective policy.
A fixed number of seats is allotted to each class, and this is not exceeded to ensure the best learning environment for every child.
A fixed age criterion applies to each class, and students outside the prescribed age group are not admitted.

Submission of a registration form does not guarantee admission, and admission cannot be confirmed for all applicants.
Admission queries made by email or phone will not be entertained.
Each application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee, and the decision is communicated only through the Edchemy portal by SMS.
The school administration has sole authority over the selection of candidates.
No donations or voluntary contributions are collected at any stage of the admission process; the management is not responsible for any such demand made in the school's name.
Applications with discrepancies between the date of birth entered online and the original birth certificate will be rejected.
Inter-school transfer requests after admission are not encouraged or entertained.
Proximity to a campus does not, by itself, guarantee admission or allotment to that campus.
A stated campus preference does not guarantee allotment to that campus; allotment is determined by the school based on Management-defined parameters, seat availability, and applicable area restrictions.
Parents/guardians are strongly advised to check residential eligibility before applying to their preferred campus.

Soft/electronic copy of a passport-size photograph of the child.
Copy of Birth Certificate.
Copy of the child's Aadhaar Card (if available; mandatory after admission).
Passport copy (for foreign nationals).
Residential address proof (Aadhaar / Passport / Sale Deed / Utility Bill, etc.).

Only online registrations are accepted for admission.
Filled and saved application forms must be submitted online only.
Only 'submitted' application forms are accepted; incomplete or merely saved applications are not considered.

Students seeking admission to Class II and above from schools within Karnataka must have completed Kannada as their second language; this does not apply to transfer cases from outside Karnataka or India.
Parents/guardians applying from outside Karnataka or India should note that, on admission, their child will be required to study Kannada as a second language.
